For those of you who get up and out to our blind before sun up, here is a tip. Purchase a package of clothspins at you local dollar store. Get the wooden ones with the spring clip. Find some varnish or polyurethane and brush or dip the pins in it, then clip them on a string or wire to dry. When they are dry, cut two small strips of reflective tape and put one on each arm of the clothspin. When you go out to check your blind the day before opening, clip a pin to nearby tree or bush branches as you walk. The next morning you can use your light to locate the markers as you go to your site. They are more convenient than thumbtacks, easily removable and reflect light from two directions. Try a red lens on your flashlight. It is less noticable to whatever you are hunting. Good luck.
