You can fish in canada just don't land. You can anchor.  Read this to set the record straight so you'll be in the know on the much controversal about fishing in Canada.

Fish all you want report to no one and go home. Just don't land your boat.

Most fishermen sit at home in the winter, thinking about fishing.  Real fishermen go out and do it.
