I think the military was having a officers only walleye tourney out there because we ran into Major A$$holes & General D!ckheads.
I lost count of how many times that we almost went overboard because of guys going full speed through a bunch of boats. One guy buzzed us twice & he was a guy from another site that I would have thought he would have known better. I don't see what's so difficult about swinging out to the middle of the river to run up/down to your spot then cut towards shore to make your drift. We (me & Sheephead Hunter) started our first drift a little before 7:00 AM & had to head in at 11:00 AM because I had a family thing to do.
In-between all the smallmouth & white bass we managed to land 5 walleye & lost/missed a few others. The walleye were between 17.5" to 23.5" up to 4Lbs. All males. The 3 bigger ones had the bottom of their jaws tore up most likely from eating the gobies hiding near the zebra mussels. There were gobies in their bellies. Here's one that put up the biggest fight.

The amount of driving I did yesterday I only used a gallon of gas. With my old motor I would have burned 3 gallons with the same amount of driving.
