Brookies are biting in Nipigon...
« on: May 09, 2008, 02:53:54 pm »

This week the Brook trout fishing was hot as we landed 20 fish over 2 days.  These fish were all between 17 to 24 inches and we let them all go.

Water temp was 37 to 39 very cold yet these fish were caught in less than 8 feet.  When fishing on the Nipigon River a Brookie must be 22 inches or bigger to keep and you are only allowed one.  All the fish we caught were released.
