Hello From Connecticut
« on: October 23, 2009, 08:25:04 am »

Hello Everyone,

My name is Rich and I am from Connecticut.  I met H2O through our sniper/gaming network.  I am a recently retired police officer from Connecticut, married with 4 children and a granddaughter.  I have always had a passion for fishing but haven't done much lately until yesterday.  I went on a charter (just me and the captain) in Long Island Sound.  The weather called for 1-2' seas and "breezy"  The 1-2' seas were actually 4-5' seas and needless to say it was a little rough for the twenty footer we were in.  I did catch six blackfish and had a great time.  Very nice website Greg!

Thanks Rich and Welcome to GLF.   I can't imagine being out with 4-5 ft. seas. I would be sea sick. lol

Not on a 20 footer, thats for sure. Things got a bit scary on my 19 foot bayliner in 4 foot waters.
