Yesterday I went on a charter (just me and the captain) in Long Island Sound. The weather called for 1-2' seas and "breezy" The 1-2' seas were actually 4-5' seas and needless to say it was a little rough for the twenty footer we were in. I did catch six blackfish (poor man's lobster) and had a great time. The largest one was nine pounds. The second largest blackfish the captain has seen in his 40 years of fishing. The state record is 21-8.
