There are too many things to go wrong. You don't play with guns.

Most fishermen sit at home in the winter, thinking about fishing. Real fishermen go out and do it.

Most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. What's next dial-a-serial-killer. Just another idiot giving real hunters a bad rap, the all mighty buck is ruining our once great countries.

Online hunting is just that. You pay a fee to a website that has a remote controlled gun on a mount in a sort of blind. You control the sighting and firing of the rifle from your computer. The webmaster dresses your game and ships it to you. Yea, real hunting. It`s obscene. Since the article was published, Granholm signed a law banning it Michigan. Not sure which states still allow it.

On-line hunting is a great idea for a handicaped person. If I was an hunter all my life and I could not get out due to my circumstance's I would love to still have a opportunity to hunt on-line. I say it a very good idea (solution) for the person who can't get out because of his or her handicap. Online hunting is good for this reason only.

I suppose if this was a very restricted permit process it might be reasonable.
H2o, you have a pretty good reply.
WA State has handicaped hunts. The have a special early season just for people with extreame handicaps like wheelchair bound. If selected the handicaped hunter takes 2 friends with him/her for assistance. Also if there is a damage control hunt usually the handicap people get drawn first.
Its my opinion that hunting is much more than just the kill. Its being in the forest with your hunting buddies experancing God's creation at its best.
In the mountians its the: *Feel of the warm and cool air currents rising and falling. *Sounds of the leaves russeling in the breese. *The smell after a rain storm. *The sparkel of a dusting of fresh snow *Sounds of water in streams and over waterfalls *All the noises made by small animals like squirrals and birds *The warning snorts of deer *The howling of a coyote pack *The bugling of bull elk I could go on and on with this list. Most of us outdoor sportsman have experanced many of these experances and more.
Pulling the trigger or releasing the bow string is just a very small part of a hunt in my opinion. Most of my best hunting trips were when we saw lots of critters but didn't harvest any.
I'm sure if this came to a vote in my state I would vote against it as we have a great handicap hunting program.
I believe any person handicaped would rather be taken for a drive in the wildeness that look at it on a TV/computer screen.

If you want to do it on a computer, play Duck Hunt on nintendo and eat a steak.

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Tell that to the person in a wheel-chair that's been hunting all there life and can't get out now. They still feel the excitement and maybe that's all they need to put that smile back on there face being a victum of life's bad luck. We live in a world of "marvel" this is just one more example of that. That's all.

Castmaster said it right. There are plenty of video games that would accomplish the same goal. The question is what`s more important, the hunt or the kill. In my opinion, it`s the hunt.
