Here are a couple starting points on Belle River Hump for anyone who fishes that area:

N 42.21 . 902
W82.39 . 983

N 42.20 . 417
W 82.40 . 318

N 42.21 . 215
W 82.40 . 276

These are close to positions because of sattelite locations and changes so watch the other boats around you and line up accordingly once you are on the hump if you are in amongst big boats your too far out those guys are perch jerkin so look for the miriad of bass boats and muti-species boats drifting those are the ones looking for the brown buddies! If you go from 15-16 ft waters up to 11 to 13 foot waters..you are sitting right on top of the Hump...drift in some places a boat length either side and your off the hump. Watch your graph closely and as you see changes on the bottom either drop a line or drift back and cast to it.

Hope this is a help to some!

Ooops forgot one for anyone who is after bass-musky-perch or walleye... This is not on the Hump but out in the middle of nowhere! I caught a 43 inch pike out of here and Bassette has caught 3 over 30 inch musky on light line and tube jig. She also boated a 30 inch walleye out of the weed edges drifting and dragging for bass.

N 42. 22 . 200
W 82.29 . 100

N 42.22 . 309
W 82.26 . 638

Hint: If the water is crystal clear and you drift across snow whites patches of sand in amongst the weeds your in the honey hole! PS...this waypoint is well over two seasons old so a lot of changes on bottom and structure ie weeds etc I would expect!

Mr. Snagman, can you also post these in the GPS waypoints forum? I have a nice list in there, but more is always better.

Snagman i know exactly what you mean by the middle of nowhere.  We've done awesome for walleys in that area.  Thank you very much.  I know these are probably not your honey holes, but I didn't expect you to give htem to me.  I really appreciate it.

BeerMaster...I can do that my bad, I seen the gps forum after I made the post...consider it done!

IFMMark....No they aren't exactly honey hole waypoints, but they give you a base to start from and work on..One thing about the Belle River Hump..If your on the right drift and find the right area its anyones honey hole. Just remember on the hump depending on which way the wind is blowing will determine which side of the hump the fish are on. I have found over the years fishing the hump that they travel up one side then down the other and they crisscross over the top...best action always seems to be in a 2 foot chop...but when the hump flattens out switch over to a drop shot rig or a 6 inch worm on a ballhead jig!!

Howdy folks,
Ken Sampson here from Nova Scotia Canada.I'm an avid smallmouth angler and have been since 1987.Spent 26 years in the navy and that got in the way of my fishing, but managed to get out whenever I wasn't at sea.Now that I'm retired from the navy I hibernate in my wife's tackle shop during the winter, and once spring hits she hibernates in the shop and I fish ':<img:'>
Last summer a good friend and I had the honour and priviledge of meeting SNAGMAN and his lovely wife Bassette when we travelled from Nova Scotia to fish the Canadian Open Pro/Am out of Windsor. Both my friend and myself came to the same conclusion after meeting him and talking with him...it seemed like we had know him for years.
Knowledgable and friendly he is,and when SNAGMAN speaks...I listen '<img'>
SNAGMAN I seem to be running into you whenever I find a new website, nope not following you buddy ''  ''  ''
Anyway folks I look forward to some great conversations on this website and I love the chat feature.
