Where to begin.... Got to the cottage around 1 on Friday.  Through a tube in the water, first cast broke my line.  Went and replaced my lure and managed to catch 12 bass from shore in less than 1/2 hour.  So I fired up the motor and took my little boat out for the first time this year.  I started fishing along the sea walls using a gulp grub and managed to catch 64 largies on Friday!!!  It was insane!! 

So I woke up Saturday morning and headed for the same spot.  In about an hour and a half I managed 17 bass on a tube.  At that point my neighbor called me to see if I wanted to go musky fishing.  I jumped at the oppurtunty but unfortunately we had no luck.  Somehow between about 1PM and nightfall I managed to catch another 16 bass on tubes and spinnerbaits.  Most of them from shore. Day 2 total of 33.

Woke up this morning and was supposed to go musky fishing but the wind was just too wild.  So I loaded up my boat and headed for the sea wall again.  I managed 26 bass in 2 hours.  All caught on tubes.  And the prize fish of the trip came.  attached is a beautiful pic of the only smallie I caught all week.  It was over 3lbs. 

Now that's a report that is the best this summer ice.
