Well I pulled the Castmaster 5000 to work with me last night. Launched in Leamington on Lake Erie at 8:30am and proceeded to fish all by myself with not another boat for as far as I could see. Started trolling with crawler harnesses in 32 FOW out in front of the big tomato and the minute I got my second rod to the bottom... DOUBLE HEADER!!! They were 2 huge sheephead. One had to be pushing 8lbs. I caught many of them, and managed 5 very nice walleye in the 3-4lb range. I would have got a limit but those damn white perch were robbing me blind every couple of minutes. I probably caught 100 of them. I caught my last eye on my very last worm. Off the water at noon. What a gorgeous day out there!!! Hardly a ripple and nice and sunny. I think I've given up on St. Clair for the next 2 months. I'll be on Erie every chance I get!
