Just thought I would stop by and post a little about me seeing as how I will be by this board from time to time. My name is Gary and I own and operate Jackfish Lures from Athabasca Alberta. Oh yeah it's way out here in the bushes ha ha, just spent the best part of two seasons moving up here from Edmonton, and getting our new home set up. I grew up in the Midwestern U.S.A was born in Los Angeles California, and have fished the Pacific Ocean and most points from Arkansas to Orr Minnesota, Nebraska, Wyoming, Colorado, Arizona, and more. My first fish caught was of course a Blue Gill on a worm and bobber ha ha at 4 years old. And I designed my first lures and hooks at 8 years old. By that time I had already become interested in catching fish with my own creations. Dad was from Edmonton and moved to the U.S to serve in the Navy and did his full term in that, and spent many years painting signs before coming home to Canada in 1990. In 1991 I came up here and decided to stay, having duel citizenship has its rewards. I had been fishing all over the country and in Arizona got lost in the Colorado River for a while, before deciding to give Canada a try. I have spent my life fishing and with Jackfish Lures have tried to develop an old school approach to Manufacturing our products. Oh Sure it would be easy to sell out and let some Chinese company make our products, but I would not be able to live with myself. I love the sport and the lures we make way to much to do that, by god one of us has to keep it North American and so it must be us at Jackfish Lures because I insist! I also believe in having REAL fishermen test our products, just ask Snagman ha ha we have quite the competitive team at Jackfish Lures. I am coming from 4 Angler of the Year Championships 2 MLWT Wins and now more than 3000 documented and released Northern Pike in 10 years on the team. Our Team has always been evolving and also includes Women Anglers some of whom are just amazing anglers. SO HERE IS AN OPPRUTINITY FOR YOU Jackfish Lures has now 7 open spots on our Field team available. If you would like to know more email me at gary@jackfishlures.com we supply new lures to be tested and also you get to participate on the team. This team has come a long way and now we are trying to include more of you, Bass and Muskie fishermen. If you think you have what it takes to finish the season in the Top 10 on Team Jackfish Lures, let me know, don't be shy there are 7 spots available. We have provided our members a private section on our board at www.jackfishlures.com to communicate their fishing successes and do a little smack talking. Well now you know who I am, don't be strangers Gary L.

Oh yeah we have covered the pike quite nicely, and as well many of our other sportfish here in our region. But it,s bass and muskie anglers we need on our team.
So the invitation is open to anglers who want to participate.
