with all this talk about boats, what is your ideal boat?
I would take a ranger 519vx tour edition, with dual console and a 200 optimax. Perfect size, because it can handle st. clair while being easy to tow, and easier on the gas.
Lets hear some opinions!!

Most fishermen sit at home in the winter, thinking about fishing. Real fishermen go out and do it.

I like my 12 foot John flat bottom with electric MinnKota. 36 thrust. It might not seem like much but the maintance is zero and the gas is 0.00 a gallon. Sure I'm limited but going out on the nice days is a Plus. My brothers 22 foot StarCraft Elite 2000 with all the goodies is the other option. The John boat has seats with backs on them and you have to relax in it. You can stand and the way I have it there's plenty of room. Fish don't know your there.

Yeah I wouldn't trade my row boat, but I need a tournament boat. Plus the ultimate fishing station goes great with the john boat
