Fly in Camps
« on: December 20, 2007, 10:18:12 am »

I have the opportunity to go to a fly in camp this spring with my Dad.....has anyone been to one??

This is the kind that has all the meals and guides included.....I have been looking at a number of them on Lac Seul, Wollaston, Knee Lake, etc.....if anyone has any suggestions for places or tips to booking it would be appreciated....

Hey SNAGMAN, tell Bill to get me a sales kit together....all my pics of Master Angler walleye, pike and lake trout should have a Milts Brand lure in their yap!!!!  LMAO!!!!  I will be into Wally's in the near future picking out mine and my Dad's tackle!!  Have to get over to Outlaws as well to get me some Woodies to throw!!!

I went to Kaby Lake (North of Wawa) back in August 2004. It wasn't a trophy lake but we (party of 12 guys) caught a ton of walleye & pike. We did the American Plan for 5 days of fishing. The food was great & the people running the place were great. If you're looking for a cheap trip with great service & food then I would recommend them. If you are looking for trophy fish then you need to go somewhere else. You will catch a lot of fish but most are eating size with an occasional trophy.

If by chance you do go there let me know & I'll give you the hot spots that worked when we were there. I recently found out that a guy I work with has been going to that lodge for the last 5 years.

Want a trophy muskie? Try the MoonRiver Area of your Georgian Bay. Unreal fishing. Tons of Smallies,Pike, all them there fish's.  If interested let me know. It's not a fly in though.

This was caught there.
