Launched at city marina in Windsor with Walleyeslayermike at about 7am. Hit Alter Rd for a minute, but too windy and no hits in a drift so we headed downriver. Picked up 3 nice eyes, including one male going 7lbs out front of Cheyne Park. Action was still a little slow for our liking so we hit a few more spots down river all the way to the steel plant. Picked up one more nice 3-4lb'er there and headed right back to square one. Picked up one more fish at Cheyne Park and called it a day. It sure was nice out there and the fishing is improving on the upper DR big time! I really belive it is a matter of a couple of days till it gets nutz! Water clarity was murky at best. Probably 6-12" visibility entire US side of the river. Can. side pretty much unfishable. Temps were in the 43 46 degree range consistantly throughout the river. All fish with the exception of one came on jig with live emeralds, no plastic. The other came on black Wyandotte Worm. From what I can see the fish are definatley bigger on average this year. See ya tomorrow! Luch then beddy bye time.
Derek.
