Hey everyone....there is a kids fishing derby this weekend put on by the Sandwich BIA at the foot of Mill Street.....Wally's Bait & Tackle is hosting this event and there will be prizes for biggest fish.....yours truly and the one and only SNAGMAN will be down measuring fish, helping the kids and parents and handing out goodie bags to the kids for their winning fish.....

It will be held on both Saturday and Sunday from 8 am until 11 am......

ALL ARE WELCOME!!!!!!!!!

Please ensure you bring a life jacket for the kids!!!!! We want it too be a safe and fun couple of days!!!!

Got to say I know 1st & 2nd & 3rd place prizes are gonna be sweet.
Yes every youngster that attends recieves a bonus package of Milts Brand Tackle for their own tackleboxes.
I really appreciate Chrispy stepping up wanting to help, we will make sure some good pictures are taken to be posted.

BTW at 11:00am on Saturday there will be a parade that follows up on sandwich street! A lot of Military and Old vehicles gonna be in there!

Well Saturday was a write off.....they called the tourney because of rain and the chance of thunder and lightening.....there were a lot of disappointed kids that came into Wally's!!!


Sunday was great!!!!! Started out the day and the sun almost came out.....we had a lot less kids than the day before but still had a decent turn out.....Wally's Baits handed out packs of Milts Brand lures and baits to all the kids just for coming out and the Sandwich BIA handed out t-shirts as well.....

Like I said we had a great time and even though the Saturday was rained out we still had a pretty good turn out....Bill Davies the owner of Wally's Baits also has to be thanked....even though he couldn't be there he gave away all the Milts Brand Tackle goodie bags and prizes....very generous of him!!!!

And of course the best part was working with ol' SNAGMAN!!!!  Keeps you in stitches the whole time!!

I tell ya Chrispy werked his butt off fixing fishing lines and doin up hooks and sinkers and helpin out all those single moms! While I stayed by the weigh station entering all those kids fish!!!
