Well I was long overdue for a day like this! Hit it at first light and jigged for about 4 hours. Boated 10 eye's with 2 over 6lbs. they were quickly released. Then culled through a few smaller fish to come home with my limit. Caught countless smallmouth and sheephead and a huge catfish. Caught about 30 fish this morning. Color combinations varied for plastics. Arkansa Shiner, Gold Pepper Shiner, Green Phantom. All caught on blue/white jighead. The water was super clean and the South winds made for some calm water all morning. The last hour I was out I didn't get a tap so I called it and came home for lunch. Looks like it's gonna be a couple days before the winds lie down and I can get out again.
