Well guys season on Lake Erie opens this Saturday May 14th and from the look of things it's going to be even better this year. There isn't any reason you shouldn't be able to get your limit anywhere right from the mouth of the Detroit River to Point Pelee Walleye are everywhere as the Perch fishermen will tell you. Have to run hopefully the weather will co-operate on the weekend.

LMAO @ CZAR BARGE I like that one hahahaha!

Walleye still being hammered at Peche Island and St Rose Bay just down from LakeView/City Marina in Windsor.

Use Shad color Fin-S on 1/2oz to 5/8oz roundhead jig or brown 4 inch werm tipped with a small berkely power minner. Vertical Jigging will fill the boat!

Dang I almost forgot something..I know he wouldn't say nothing but: If you like using Erie Dearies & Gold Nuggets etc for the walleye, then you gotta ask Bakie about his version of a trolling weighted worm lure! I won several in a derby two years ago and when the walleye fishing changes to a worm bite...trolling these baits are great or just drifting with them as well.
Paint jobs are awesome and a lotta razzle dazzle and flash! Ya get over by Bakies check em out!

Thanks for the heads up....have you tried them in St. Clair or are they more of an Erie bait???  I use Erie Dearies up north when the bite is slow....give em something other than a worm harness or a jig to look at....I love to change it up!!!

Nope mostly Lake Erie...I actually don't fish for walleye after they start leaving the river, so end up jigging in the spring and fall.

But sometimes for giggles and the Horaky Derby in Colchester use werm harness's and those ones by Bakie..matter fact thats where I got my first ones from the Horaky Derby!

Guys are useing my Drift Rigs all over North America, they helped my buddy N guess Nick and his partner win the MWT a year ago. The problem with them everything likes to take them not just Eyes Musky, Smallies, Etc. I've got a guy that has a flyin camp way north of the Sualte that wants my Harnesses and Drift Rigs guess everybody that goes up there has used them and had great success. Have to run don't like blowing my own horn let everybody else do it once they've tried my tackle.

Well outside of testing but for personal fishing...Bakies drift rigs & worm harness's will put those fish in the grease.

Paint jobs are super and color combos are great.

He is right...drop one of these rigs in the water and it calls in all species. Like he said he may not want to brag...but others and the rigs speak for him.
