Went out with my dad tody on the south shore.  He didn't wake me up early, so we got out at about 9.  We only got one fish between 9-12 and it was about a 2.5lb. smallie that I got on a 3" watermelon Gulp grub.  That's it.

SNAG, were you out today?  I saw an Astro around the silos at the hump at about 9:15.  One guy in the boat.  Just wonderin.

Nice smallie ICE,,SNAG should have been with his better half, I would have thought. Bassette is just as avid a fisher as SNAGMAN himself.

But don't get in his way of those bass,,he can smell them before you and I even see them.

I let him smell my hand the other night, just to calm him down.. ''  ''

Nope...wasn't me Ice...I took a day off the water due to the heat. If it was a Black/Silver Astro its a fella who works at Chrysler and only fishes alone. He likes working the hump from inside to out!
Soooo Ol QMaze...ya either didn't get yer toofers pulled or the drugs are great...Smelled yer thumbs lmaohahaha, thats a good one. I try to be a good guide and put ya on fish and what ya do...smell yer thumbs hahahahahaha!!! So if'n ya gots yer toofy's pulled how ya feelin really?
Look for me & Bassette tomorrow in the AM fishing the Detroit River from the RCMP Station down to the Hiram Walker Plant...loaded with smallies and maybe a walleye or two! If nothing goes there...will look at dragging for the toothy critters out east of the hump!

We fished out between Ruscom River & Stoney Point on Wednesday Night..launched out of Deer Brook Marina...How close was we to yall Ice?

I got some really good spots out that way has been good producers of Smallies & Muskies for several years, fish it quite a bit in late August to 2nd week of September.

If ya set your compass to 240 degrees or your gps same follow out 7 miles to 20 feet of water...good spot called the 240 hole..its a hold up for perch-walleye-bass-musky-pike.

If you're going towards the lake, we have property down the canal that's on the opposite side of the bridge.  We also have lakefront property too.  So we're very close to Deerbrook.  Thanks for the spots, and I think I know what the 240 hole is.  We fish there alot, and it has some real good fishing.  We'll meet up some time.

Yup the wisdom  got yanked on Friday. The impacted one was the worst but so far so good. Lots of bleeding yesterday but that was under control in a few hours, just weeping.

I'm up and about and was considering heading out fishing.

But I am getting a bit more sore because of trying to eat, soup only. Starting to see some bruising today on my cheeks and under my eyes a bit. No real swelling yet.

I could actually go out but with these pain pills they make you drowsy so sticking at home.

Need to fish though, I forget how to cast... ''
