What was the best fish you caught in 2005? What would you like to do in 2006 to improve on your '05 catch? My best of '05 was fairly difficult. I had a great year in 2005. I hit 2 largemouth over 5lbs right here in Indiana. Both new personal best's. I nailed a 38" Northern Pike in Ontario. I caught 20lb+ Grouper in Florida. But my personal best had to be a 22" smallmouth I hit wading in North Eastern Indiana... and of course no camera at the time. It hit a Leverage buzzbait after about 2 cranks. Looked like someone threw dynamite in the water with the explosion. It was fantastic.
Ontario Northern 38" 17lb 7oz.

I got a bass that was pretty close to 5lbs. this spring which was nice to catch. Other than that I didn't catch alot of hogs but I caught alot more fish. I had my first 50 fish day which is a great milestone. I want to try and get in the top 3 in one of my tournaments this year, and it can happen. I'm geeked to get out on the water.

Most fishermen sit at home in the winter, thinking about fishing. Real fishermen go out and do it.

My first tourny is 3/19 at Monroe near Bloomington, IN. Might be a little chilly leaving the ramp, but how can you beat the excitement of the first tourny of the year?
50 fish day? Fantastic. My fishing buddy Alan and I have a running competition every time we fish. 1st fish, biggest fish, most fish. He had a 47 fish day once, I was in the 20's. But 50 is freaking lighting it up.
Top 3 is a great goal. Good Luck.
