Boat
« on: February 24, 2010, 06:54:57 pm »

I am in the market for a new boat. Currently have a mirrocraft aluminum 21 foot. Want to get a fiberglass 23-25 with hard top.  Any suggestions on boats to look at? Pursuit seems to be my best option at this time but would like some other suggestions.

Pursuits are very good boats. I've fished on my wife's uncle's 25' Pursuit on Lk Huron several times & it rides & handles the rough water great. He's running twin 130 HP Yamahas. Pursuits were originally designed for saltwater use.

Parker's are also good boats if you're looking for an enclosed cabin.

SeaRays are also another good boat (made by same company that makes Parkers & Boston Whalers). My dad has a 26' SeaRay (been out of service for 15 yrs because he did have time to maintain it). Fish St. Clair in it for 10 years. It now sits in his yard & is an eye sore.  Grin
