Any tips?
I just bought a small boat with a motor and trolling motor. I am getting back into to it with my family, neices and nephews. I havent lake fished much since I was a kid when I mostly fished for bluegill and bass. the lakes up here are good for Pike, Walleye , Bass and Perch... (havent found a good bluegill spot to take the kids yet)
I realize that there are tons of factors on whether fish are biting or not, but as I came off the water emtpyhanded yesterday another skunked fisherman told me that after heavy rain the fish are full, and often dont bite on much. this was mid-day/early afternoon too since I had to work in the morning.
What are your thoughts on weather and fish? do you fish during the rain? after?
Any tips?
i'm going back out this weekend. Hoping not to get skunked.
