Well me and marinehabitats hit the mile roads for the first time in St. Clair. It was a calm day we launched from crocker. We started in 10 FOW straights out from the launch drifting for muskie and bass. after 30 min I had a LM out not a giant but good size on a rapala straight perch rap. We drifted to 14 FOW with a couple more small SMs in the boat. We moved south to down to 11 mile and in 10 FOW we had a 4ft Muskie swim up to the boat to see what we were talking about. Unfortunately this muskie was not following the lures to the boat. We tried to get him in but another pike or muskie that was smaller followed me in without a strike shortly after the 4ft sighting. We started drifting and got a bunch of 12in SM that fraught like crazy. We caught them on 3in Berkley power grubs ( pearl white & Natural char). Let them hit the bottom and bounce them. The biggest SM was 4lb class on a triple tandem muskie spinner bait caught by MarineHabitats. After 6 hours of casting we decided to troll. After about 30 min of trolling we had a muskie hit on a mepps muskie killer trolled in the prop wash 25' back. Orange and yellow spinner black tail. The muskie grabbed the spinner and put some nice dents in it with hit teeth. I only got to fight the beast for about 5 seconds before he let go but it was good action for us. We ended up with about 15-20 fish in the boat SM mostly. So it was a good day I am going to try the dumps next time when I have my new fish finder GPS combo. That way I can see where I am on a map instead of just making points on my current GPS that only get me in a general location. I would post pics but we did not take any on this trip.

Very nice Alex. Me and the admiral were out there, tried down by the firecracker with harnesses at 6 am and further down at st clair light. Not much luck. The chop was absolutely horrid. Headed back to 9 mile and fished there. Big bass are not there anymore, but plenty of small smallies and perch hanging out in the area. Ended up with a bunch of dinks and a sunburn
