Fished Clair from 7:27 till 2:00 and just had a blast. Seen MuskieHound (Jim) out there and he was enjoying himself. You know the routine and the wind really started to pick up and being in my flatbottom I took a bit of water now and than. Used the sponge a few times as a bildge. lol

Fished with my Brother Czar and he tried but couldn't get the first, biggest, most, or most species. awe.

Laughed alot and got some pike and rockies. I'm on break now and won't get out in the weather this weekend.

It's great that you can post a picture of a bass over here and not get hounded by everyone.  I look forward to your GLF reports because you can be more truthful.  That being said, we need to get out.

Nice going fellas.  Cool

That chunk might be the same one I caught on Tuesday. It was 5 Lbs 6oz on the Rapala scale.  Grin

Mark, I know what you mean about LSCN. That's why I don't post there anymore.

Besides. We are pike fishing. Damn bass need to learn how to read and aquaint themselves with the DNR rules and guidelines. I don;t think it's that big of a deal as long as you release them promptly.

It was a fun day as usual. I have to go at least once a year in the jon boat so H2O can show me his bildge pump skill, (sponge and bailer Grin It`s the Czarbarge the rest of the year now although I`ll need a mortgage for the gas. Worth every penny, I mean dollar. H2O`s last cast landed him the rock bass that took the species title and I think he was more excited about that than anything. I got to admit, we do have a blast .

As long as it's legal to fish for a species in season you are always going to catch fish out of season and just like a fish that's under the size limit all you do is release it.  THAT'S THE NAME OF THAT GAME or don't fish.
