Fished a private inland 45 acre lake near lake orion called Elkhorn with my youngest son Adam. From 7-11. Casting Casting Casting for hours made me save the skunk and tie on a small hook and split shot administer a torn tailed 1 inch power grub white and used it as a wax worm to catch 10 gills and pumpkins. Had alot of fun with my son and we just enjoyed being there. The lake gets alot of pressure now and rec. but we basically had it to ourselfs.

This cost me 1$ but atleast we caught. 

At least you got out. I've had to give in & target gills to prevent a skunk before.  They can be a lot of fun on an ultra light. The ultra light I own was bought just for catching gills out at Maltby Lake at Huron Meadows Metro Park.
