Went out to Stoney with Mike at 6am this morning untill around 11:00am when the rain let loose. We ended up with 11 largemouth ranging from 2 1/2 to 4lbs and 1 rock bass, most caught on topwater baits: Zara spook, Strikeking buzzbait and Jitterbug. Mike had several hit and misses on a weedless Jitterbug and his mystery top water plug and finally brought one in on a regular Jitter bug. A few were taken on Slurpies 5" Dip-Stick Worm and Snackdaddy tube in pumpkinseed and chartreuse colors. We both got soaked from head to toe in the rain but it was well worth it.

Nice going. Nothing beats top-water for bass. One of these days I'm going to try Stoney Creek.
