So where are some places you can take a little 14 foot aluminum boat out and actually catch some fish this time of the year?

Now's a good time to get in say 10 f.o.w. and use live bait. Crawlers and minnows, wax worms.  Try Whitmore lake for none stop gills. Czar will guide you there.

Try Lakeville Lake, north of Rochester. Good pike, bass panfish and I`ve heard of some walters coming out of there too. http://www.dnr.state.mi.us/SPATIALDATALIBRARY/PDF_MAPS/INLAND_LAKE_MAPS/OAKLAND/LAKEVILLE_LAKE.PDF

There you go. I'll be heading up to Houghton Lake this weekend.

With the wife & kids being gone since June 21st my DTE bill was only half as much. Smiley Now I'll spend what I saved on gas to go up there. Smiley

I shouldn't feel bad then. 3 kids and a wife and 2 fridges, 2 big screen tvs 3 other tvs and 5 computers in the house lol. Kids and wife constantly leave sh*t on. I did replace everything with CFL's last year so I am sure that helps a great deal.
Also replaced the 5 yearold 10 Seer 2.5 AC unit with a newer 12 Seer 3 ton unit last month. Kida curious if it's more or less efficient than the old one.
